  1. ANSWER                                                                   
  2.  
  3. Sends a message to the sender of the message you are currently reading or the
  4. one you last read. If you do not specify the name of a file to be sent as your
  5. reply, you are prompted for the text of your reply. You can use the ANSWER
  6. command and the REPLY command interchangeably because they work the same way.
  7. You must be reading a message in order to reply to it.

  14. Parameters:    file-spec
  15.  
  16.                Indicates the name of the file to be sent as a reply.

  19. Qualifiers:    /CC_PROMPT
  20.  
  21.                /[NO]CC_PROMPT
  22.  
  23.                Prompts for the carbon copy (CC:) recipients. 
  24.                Overrides the SET CC_PROMPT command for this message only.

  27.                /[NO]EDIT
  28.  
  29.                Invokes the editor to edit the message you are answering. 
  30.                When you EXIT from the editor the message is sent. 
  31.                To cancel the sending of the message, enter the EDT
  32.                command QUIT, if you are using the EDT editor. The /LAST
  33.                qualifier can be used in conjunction with the /EDIT qualifier.

  35.                This allows you to edit the last message you sent.

  37.                /EXTRACT
  38.  
  39.                Invokes the editor to enable you to edit the current 
  40.                message to that you are replying to.

  42.                /LAST
  43.  
  44.                Specifies that the last message you sent be used as text 
  45.                for the reply. The /EDIT qualifier can be used in conjunction
  46.                with the /LAST qualifier. This allows you to bring the last 
  47.                message you sent into the editor to modify for your answer.

  50.                /PERSONAL_NAME
  51.  
  52.                /[NO]PERSONAL_NAME= name
  53.      
  54.                Specifies the personal name to be used when sending this 
  55.                message only. The /NOPERSONAL_NAME qualifier sends a message
  56.                with a null personal name field.

  58.                /SELF
  59.  
  60.                /[NO]SELF
  61.  
  62.                Determines whether or not MAIL sends a copy of the response 
  63.                back to you. The default is /NOSELF, unless you have used
  64.                the SET COPY_SELF command to specify that copies be sent to       
  65.                yourself automatically.
